Contemporary Ballet

Bárbara’s ballet class offers an approach, blending traditional ballet techniques with
principles from the GYROKINESIS® method. As a certified trainer, Bárbara focuses
on decompressing the spine, enhancing mobility, and cultivating spatial awareness.
These elements are woven into her ballet instruction to help dancers move with
greater fluidity, ease, and control.
Her classes are energetic yet respectful, designed to meet the individual needs of
each dancer. Her instruction is tailored to different skill levels, ensuring a supportive
and engaging environment for all

Biography

Bárbara is a dedicated dance teacher and professional dancer with over 10 years of
experience performing with companies such as Theater Vorpommern, Oper Graz,
and Nordharzer Städtebundtheater. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege
of working with various choreographers, including Andreas Heise, Kristina Paulin,
Maura Morales, Tiago Manquinho, Kristian Lever and Jörg Weinöhl.

In addition to her performance career, Bárbara recently completed the Dance
Pedagogy Certificate in the professional field, organized by the Deutschen
Berufsverband für Tanzpädagogik. Currently, she works in dance schools and as a
guest teacher for companies, while also offering training as a certified Gyrokinesis®
instructor.
