Molecular Flow
This class begins with a dynamic warm-up to activate specific aspects of urban and contemporary techniques such as flow, shifting movement qualities, floor work, improvisation, inner and outer awareness, and musicality. Movement phrases are then introduced with a particular focus on space and movement dynamics. Kirill's diverse dance background leads to a unique, natural, and organic fusion of movement language that is strongly characterized by inner strength, flow, and availability.

Questions from Tanzplattform Rhein-Main:
What makes this class a training for dance professionals? Or put another way - what skills or practices are we doing that are support our position as professionals in the free scene in Frankfurt?

"I think the class has a nice pace that challenges, technically on several layers. Physically with a challenging but organic language that incorporates different styles of contemporary and urban art forms. It challenges the dancers to adapt quickly and hopefully also, offers new skills or tools that can be incorporated into their own practice or every day work as dance professionals. Opening their minds and bodies to a variety of styles."

Is this an improvisation class, a class where we learn phrases, or both?

"The class consists of 25% guided improvisations, 65% of set material and 10% choreographic task, give or take."
