BAdance presents “the TIMES / the DEPTHS”, an evening of six works that navigate notions of order and wildness, direction and deviation, reason and intuition. The title is an appeal to tune in to, as Carl Jung put it, the spirit of the times and the spirit of the depths, the forces that drive us in both unremarkable, daily activities as well as in creative and artistic pursuits. The students have worked closely with guest choreographers Rena Butler, Kristian Lever, and Sade Mamedova to create three new works. The evening will also present three remounted works: “workwithinwork” by honorary professor William Forsythe, “Samples of Change” by Kristel van Issum, and “BOLÉROs” by director Prof. Damian Gmür.
