Open Call

Max Levy Choreographic Works is looking for one additional female dancer to join the creation period of its project, Sleepdancing, in Frankfurt, Germany between November/December 2021. We are searching for applicants based in the Frankfurt region (or able to secure their own accommodation there), but open to applicants from other regions in Germany.

Train the trainer

The support and integration of high-quality dance offers in the Rhine-Main region and Hesse is an important matter for us. With our program Train the Trainer – to qualify as a KINDERTANZT! – lecturer, we would like to train multipliers and actively and sustainably secure the quality and professionalization of mediation practice in elementary and primary schools.

The aim of this program is to acquire the concept of continuing education KINDERTANZT! in its content, methodological and didactic orientation. The participants acquire the competence to teach contemporary dance under the principles of the Education Plan Hessen (BEP) to educators in the elementary sector and in primary schools. The course is held in German.

The program is aimed at professional dance educators with practical experience in working with children who want to work in the field of adult education.

Moove On!

Seeking dance teachers and dancers in the Rhein-Main region,

Moove On! is a collaboration between the Crespo Foundation and the Tanzplattform Rhein-Main to support dance teachers interested in working with children by initiating weekly dance sessions with Kindergartens. The goal is to connect dance teachersand dancers from the Rhein-Main area with kindergartens, day-care centers and after-school programs,and get them moving! One unique aspect of Moove On!is the opportunity to teach dance to children in a supported, visible and contemporary setting. In addition, the project provides a structure for reflection on one’s practice, exchange of methods, and expanding one’s network. As thelockdowneases, we are excited forthe opportunity to release bottled-upenergy of the past months together through movement and share the joy of dance with young people.
